Travelling by bus is a great way to see the countryside and Somerset's towns and villages. It is also a good alternative to the car for work, shopping and leisure trips.

Buses

First Group Buses operates Service 54 through Langport which passes the site. Service 54 runs between Taunton and Yeovil via Somerton so links the development with Taunton, Somerton and Yeovil (Mondays to Saturdays but not Sundays). Connections are available at Taunton and Yeovil for a wide range of destinations and Somerton for Buses of Somerset Service 77 to Glastonbury, Street and Wells (for Bristol). Service 54 runs approximately hourly during the day until early evening.

It is also possible to receive bus times by text message. This text service will give you the next 3 buses to Taunton due at the Kelways stop - text sotatpwt to 84268 (texts cost 25p).

Services 54 stops on the main road close to the Old Kelways development outside the pub.

Hatch Green Coaches Service 16 (operated by Hatch Green Coaches) links Langport with Othery, Westonzoyland and Bridgwater (including Bridgwater College). Connections are available at Bridgwater for a wide range of destinations including Burnham, Highbridge, Weston-Super-Mare and the West Somerset Coast (Williton).

Please note that Service 16 does not pass the Old Kelways development. It stops on the Newton Road (A372 to Bridgwater) a short distance downhill towards Langport town centre.
