Walking is an excellent way to get around and is a great way to fit regular exercise into your daily routine. It's also a great way to explore you local area without the need for a car.

Walking

Your home is well located for a range of services within the local area. Bassetts Farm Primary School is immediately adjacent to you home, it can be reached within a 2 minute walk. A further Primary School, Withycombe Raleigh CofE School, is within an easy 15 minute walk to the south – it can be reached via St John’s Road.

Brixington Village Shops is a local centre with a number of facilities available, amongst others, a Co-operative Food, Tesco Express and a number of take-away restaurants. This can be reached within an easy 10 minute walk to the north via St John’s Road and Churchill Road. The centre of Exmouth where there is a larger range of facilities and further amenities (including Exmouth Beach) can be reached within around a half an hour walk.

Exmouth is lucky to be surrounded by the attractive countryside of East Devon, the Exe Estuary and stunning coastline. It is also in reasonable proximity to Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks. There are a number of local public footpaths and bridleways that offer countryside walks for all ages and abilities.

The Exe Estuary is a haven for leisure and relaxation with the Exe Estuary Trail providing a traffic free and majority level route stretching from Exmouth to Dawlish Warren via Exeter. The trail takes in small local towns including Starcross, Topsham and Lympstone.
