Walking is an excellent way to get around and is a great way to fit regular exercise into your daily routine. It's also a great way to explore you local area without the need for a car.

Exmouth is blessed with being surrounded by the attractive countryside of East Devon, the Exe Estuary and stunning coastline. It is also in reasonable proximity to Dartmoor National Park.

There are a number of local public footpaths and bridleways that offer countryside walks for all ages and abilities.

The Exe Estuary is a haven for leisure and relaxation and Devon County Council is working on the Exe Estuary Trail to encourage sustainable and healthy travel by walking and cycling.
